88EP 88Goku and Cell clash as both unleash their full power in an intense battle
Jan 9, 2011Super Saiyan Goku and Cell engage in combat, prompting Gohan and Vegeta to recognize that neither fighter has yet reached their maximum potential. Both combatants subsequently elevate their power levels to the highest possible limit. Following a short exchange, Cell employs techniques borrowed from other warriors, including Tien's Multi-Form, Piccolo's Makankosappo, and Frieza's heat-seeking Kienzan. Goku successfully counters each of these assaults. Cell then charges a full-power Kamehameha capable of destroying the Earth, but Goku redirects the blast into the sky and uses Instant Transmission to return to the arena. Ultimately, Cell's speed becomes too great for Goku to match.
89EP 89Goku and Cell clash at maximum speed as Cell destroys the ring to force a fight to the death.
Jan 16, 2011Goku and Cell fight at a pace too fast for most spectators to see, trading heavy blows while their power levels remain equal. To prevent a ring-out victory, Cell destroys the arena, forcing the combat to continue until one fighter dies or surrenders. The intensity escalates as Goku ascends into the sky to charge a massive Kamehameha. Observers believe he is bluffing, as the attack would destroy the Earth from that height. Instead, Goku uses Instant Transmission to teleport directly in front of Cell, firing the blast at point-blank range. While the world celebrates Cell's apparent defeat, the android's lower half regenerates. Although both fighters have depleted significant energy, Cell gains the upper hand as Goku has expended even more power. Desperate, Goku unleashes a barrage of ki blasts to end the conflict.

Jan 23, 2011Goku’s ki blasts fail to defeat Cell, who activates an energy barrier at the last moment. The Z Fighters realize Goku has exhausted his energy. In a surprising move, the battle-worn Super Saiyan surrenders and announces that Gohan will be the next and last contestant to fight Cell. Piccolo and Krillin protest this decision, but Gohan agrees and steps forward. Gohan impresses everyone with his power, which proves to be on par with Goku’s. 91EP 91Gohan Must Unleash His Hidden Power by Getting Angry
Jan 30, 2011Super Saiyan Gohan refuses to fight, warning Cell that releasing his hidden strength will cause him to lose control and kill the villain. This threat intrigues Cell, who decides to deliberately enrage Gohan by inflicting severe pain to force his true power out. As Gohan endures the punishment, Android #16 intervenes. Since he emits no detectable ki, #16 grabs Cell from behind and declares his intention to trigger his self-destruct bomb.
92EP 92Android 16's Head Is Crushed, Triggering Gohan's Transformation Into Super Saiyan 2
Feb 6, 2011Krillin informs Android 16 that Bulma removed his self-destruct bomb, allowing Cell to destroy 16's body while keeping his head intact. Realizing Gohan cannot access his power through physical pain, Cell creates seven Cell Juniors to kill Gohan's allies. Only Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo can fight the offspring, while Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and an exhausted Goku are overpowered. Mr. Satan carries 16's head to Gohan, who struggles to find his strength. 16 sympathizes with Gohan's reluctance to kill but urges him to unleash his anger to protect his friends. With his comrades healed, Gohan turns his full attention to Cell. From the very beginning of their confrontation, it becomes evident that Gohan possesses a significant advantage over his opponent, shifting the momentum of the fight in his favor.

Goku recalls Gohan’s hidden strength from their Hyperbolic Time Chamber training. Despite losing limbs, Cell regenerates and shifts to a bulked-up form, but his reduced speed allows Gohan to strike his head and stomach. This forces Cell to regurgitate Android #18 and revert to his Semi-Perfect Form. As the fighters anticipate victory, Cell’s body begins to expand to a gigantic size, signaling that the battle is far from over.
