Ep. 10: Noiz repairs Clear while Aoba plans to infiltrate Oval Tower with Mink to stop Toue.
Noiz attempts emergency repairs on Clear but admits he cannot fully fix him. Aoba reveals his Scrap ability and suspects Toue intends to brainwash island citizens during Plantimum Jail's Special Anniversary Event. Determined to stop this, Aoba decides to keep Koujaku and others safe from danger. He and Mink plan to break into Oval Tower alone. Mink provides a USB drive to disable Allmate security by inserting it into Ren, despite Aoba's fear that it might destroy Ren. Ren agrees to the risk. After uploading the program, Aoba notices Ren acting strangely. Cornered by Akushima and officers, Mink forces Aoba to use a gun, triggering a personality shift that repels their pursuers. Aoba uses Scrap on Mink, discovering his plan to commit suicide after avenging his people against Toue. Aoba finds the real Mink chained and rejected when trying to free him. Upon waking, Mink notes they share the scent of death as Aoba urges him to live.
