Ep. 11: Aoba discovers his twin brother Sei's tragic past and the truth behind his memory loss
While ascending Oval Tower, Aoba encounters a dying hologram of Sei, who reveals he orchestrated Aoba's journey to be broken by his power. Separated from Mink, Aoba is captured by Morphine, Virus, and Trip, who confess to erasing his Rhyme memories to hide him from Toue. They disclose that Aoba and Sei are designer twins created by Toue using Tae’s research; Aoba was revived after being born dead, while Sei suffered lethal experiments. Rescued by Mink, Koujaku, Noiz, and Clear, Aoba learns Ren is infected by a worm. As the group fights guards, Aoba and Mink advance against Toue. Toue’s attempt to use Scrap on Mink fails due to Aoba’s prior influence. Mink sends Aoba back to pursue the real Toue, but Ren bites Aoba, transferring an unknown substance into him.
