EP 1Aoba Seragaki encounters childhood friend Koujaku and faces mysterious Rhyme battles and disappearances
Jul 7, 2014While delivering goods at Junk Shop Mediocrity, Aoba Seragaki reunites with childhood friend Koujaku and his Allmate Beni. After a delivery to Yoshie keeps him until nightfall, he is harassed by Ribstiez members Bug Bomb but rescued by Mizuki of Dry Juice. Mizuki warns of Ribstiez losing ground to the cyber game Rhyme and mentions mysterious disappearances linked to the mythical group Morphine. Aoba witnesses a Rhyme battle interrupted by police officer Akushima, then reunites with old friends Virus and Trip. He returns home to grandmother Tae and opens an automatic download containing an old-fashioned game titled "Silent Oath." The next day, a figure in a rabbit costume forces Aoba into a Rhyme battle, addressing him as "Sly Blue." Despite having no memory of playing, Aoba’s persona shifts, and he defends himself while muttering about death and destruction.
EP 2Aoba wakes without memory of his Rhyme battle while Clear arrives claiming to know his voice
Jul 14, 2014Following his initial attack, Aoba reverts to his normal state with no recollection of the event. A mysterious player commands his rabbit Allmates to assault Aoba and Ren, triggering Aoba’s alternate personality to seemingly destroy the Rhyme Field and end the fight. A masked man who calls Aoba "Master" transports their unconscious bodies back to Mediocrity. Upon waking, both lack memories of the battle's conclusion. Aoba contacts Virus and Trip to inquire about past Rhyme play, as his memories from years ago are unclear. They confirm he never played while visiting Morphine’s tag art in an alley. After Koujaku stays over, Aoba shares the incident and receives advice to be cautious. The next morning, Aoba meets the masked man, who introduces himself as Clear and states he came because he heard Aoba’s voice. Confused, Aoba dismisses him, only to be visited by the young man who forced him into Rhyme. Toue, Sei, and Ryuho appear for the first time, with the former two watching footage of Aoba’s battle with Noiz in Oval Tower, while Ryuho gives Mizuki a flower drawing resembling tattoos on Koujaku’s back.

Jul 21, 2014A young man buys from Aoba, then appears in his bedroom revealing he was the rabbit-costumed Rhyme battle opponent. He demands a rematch, threatening Ren if refused. Clear arrives to protect Aoba, leading to a scuffle with Koujaku that Tae stops. The intruder introduces himself as Noiz. Aoba and Koujaku visit Mizuki, who is depressed about losing team members. The next day, Noiz visits the shop, where he kisses Mio’s palm and then Aoba’s lips, inviting Aoba to join Ruff Rabbit. Aoba refuses. Yoshie calls about Tae’s back injury, so Aoba helps her home. Later, Tae meets Takahashi, who notes Aoba’s survival. The production team later apologized for technical errors in the broadcast, citing an unfinished version aired by mistake, and rebroadcast a corrected version on July 26 while improving earlier episodes.
EP 4Aoba encounters Clear on his roof while Dry Juice vanishes and Morphine tags appear
Jul 28, 2014Tae denies knowing Aoba and questions Takahashi’s demands. Aoba watches an interview with Platinum Jail owner Toue, mocking his concept of perfect happiness. After Tae lies to him, Aoba finds Clear singing on his rooftop. Clear shares the Jellyfish Song, originally for his deceased grandfather, and asks why humans live knowing they will die. Aoba explains that humans seek happiness and leave a mark on the world. Clear sings to Aoba as he sleeps. Meanwhile, Takahashi reports Tae’s refusal to Toue. The next day, Koujaku learns Mizuki and Dry Juice have disappeared, finding their tags replaced by Morphine’s. Virus and Trip claim ignorance but promise updates. Noiz challenges Aoba to Rhyme, but Koujaku intervenes, leading to a scuffle. Police officer Akushima arrives, and Aoba separates from Koujaku. He receives a Silent Oath download showing a character taken from a knight. Confused, Aoba returns home to find Tae missing. He discovers unconscious men with Morphine tags before Mink appears and knocks him out.
EP 5Aoba negotiates with Mink to locate Tae while confronting Mizuki's mind control.
Aug 4, 2014Aoba awakens in Scratch's hideout and is beaten by Mink's men until his alternate personality intervenes. He later agrees to Mink's terms to find Tae, reuniting with Clear and Koujaku, who joins despite distrust. The group recruits Noiz and tracks Tae to an abandoned warehouse, where they encounter Dry Juice members now controlled by Morphine. Aoba finds Tae and a crazed Mizuki, who reveals the alliance and attacks Aoba by threatening Tae's life. Aoba enters Mizuki's mind, discovering he was betrayed and turned into a puppet to protect Dry Juice from Rhyme. His other persona emerges, commanding destruction, which causes Mizuki to mentally collapse in the physical world.
EP 6Aoba learns of his Scrap ability and resolves to enter Platinum Jail to confront Toue.
Aug 11, 2014Aoba enters a Rhyme Field where Toue urges him to discover his true identity. Upon waking, Aoba collapses after finding Mizuki unconscious. Takahashi informs Toue that police are pursuing Aoba. Tae reveals Mizuki and Dry Juice are comatose due to Morphine, a former researcher for Toue who controls Mizuki to coerce Tae. Tae explains Toue plans to brainwash the island’s citizens and sell the technology. She discloses that Aoba possesses Scrap, an ability to enter others’ minds via voice. After Virus warns of impending police arrest, Aoba and Koujaku receive an invitation to Platinum Jail. Aoba decides to go there to stop Toue. He flees as police arrive, prompting Koujaku and the others to begin searching for him.

Aug 18, 2014At Platinum Jail's tenth anniversary, Aoba and Koujaku encounter Ryuho, a tattoo artist who forces a tattoo on Aoba to observe the results. Koujaku intervenes, revealing he is Ryuho's former subject and killed him after enduring painful procedures ordered by his yakuza father. Aoba enters Koujaku's mind, witnessing his traumatic past and subsequent rampage that claimed his mother's life. Koujaku admits he survived to see Aoba again, and Aoba helps him overcome his guilt. Afterward, they rest and recall their childhood. Ryuho survives long enough to report the experiment's success to Toue. Later, Aoba spots a mysterious figure in the living room while searching for Ren.
EP 8Aoba rescues Ren from Noiz, who is brainwashed by Morphine and learns to feel pain.
Aug 25, 2014Aoba aggressively retrieves Ren from Noiz, accidentally injuring the latter with a screwdriver. After apologizing and treating the wound, Aoba receives a Silent Oath download while Noiz fails to trace its source. Ren clarifies that Noiz merely removed a system worm. The next day, Aoba apologizes for his behavior, but Noiz dismisses it, suspecting ulterior motives before leaving to buy food. Aoba follows him, and they are ambushed by Morphine members. Noiz chases a masked man and is brainwashed by a strange song. Aoba uses Scrap to enter Noiz's mind, discovering his traumatic childhood where his parents locked him away. Aoba comforts him, promising to teach him about pain and fulfill his desire for a Rhyme battle. They awaken in the real world, where Noiz can now feel pain, though Aoba senses his other personality growing stronger.
EP 9Clear reveals his face to Aoba and fights androids to protect him from Toue's control.
Sep 1, 2014Aoba and an injured Noiz are ambushed by Morphine members, but Clear appears and easily defeats them. When one man tries to hurt Aoba, Clear violently beats him until Aoba stops him, allowing the attacker to throw acid on Clear and escape. At their lodging, Clear refuses to remove his mask, explaining his grandfather told him never to show his face because it was not normal. Aoba assures Clear he would not hate him and takes off his own mask, revealing Clear's normal-looking face. Later, strange music causes Aoba pain, and Clear explains Toue uses Dye Music to brainwash people. Clear questions Ren about his loyalty, while Koujaku and Noiz rest. Aoba and Clear visit Oval Tower, where they are confronted by masked figures called the Alphas, who reveal they share Clear's face and were sent by Toue to dispose of him. Clear cannot fight due to a safety mechanism, but he fries his circuits to attack them. Aoba learns Clear considers him his Master because his voice resembles Toue's. On a rooftop, the Alphas mock Clear, who rebuffs them by stating he enjoys emotions. Determined to protect Aoba, Clear stabs himself to remove the safety mechanism. Aoba briefly uses Scrap on Clear before letting him destroy the Alphas with his Jellyfish Song. Gravely damaged, Clear collapses in Aoba's arms, calls him by name, and shuts down. Outside Platinum Jail, Mink and his gang prepare to smuggle weapons.
EP 10Noiz repairs Clear while Aoba plans to infiltrate Oval Tower with Mink to stop Toue.
Sep 8, 2014Noiz attempts emergency repairs on Clear but admits he cannot fully fix him. Aoba reveals his Scrap ability and suspects Toue intends to brainwash island citizens during Plantimum Jail's Special Anniversary Event. Determined to stop this, Aoba decides to keep Koujaku and others safe from danger. He and Mink plan to break into Oval Tower alone. Mink provides a USB drive to disable Allmate security by inserting it into Ren, despite Aoba's fear that it might destroy Ren. Ren agrees to the risk. After uploading the program, Aoba notices Ren acting strangely. Cornered by Akushima and officers, Mink forces Aoba to use a gun, triggering a personality shift that repels their pursuers. Aoba uses Scrap on Mink, discovering his plan to commit suicide after avenging his people against Toue. Aoba finds the real Mink chained and rejected when trying to free him. Upon waking, Mink notes they share the scent of death as Aoba urges him to live.
EP 11Aoba discovers his twin brother Sei's tragic past and the truth behind his memory loss
Sep 15, 2014While ascending Oval Tower, Aoba encounters a dying hologram of Sei, who reveals he orchestrated Aoba's journey to be broken by his power. Separated from Mink, Aoba is captured by Morphine, Virus, and Trip, who confess to erasing his Rhyme memories to hide him from Toue. They disclose that Aoba and Sei are designer twins created by Toue using Tae’s research; Aoba was revived after being born dead, while Sei suffered lethal experiments. Rescued by Mink, Koujaku, Noiz, and Clear, Aoba learns Ren is infected by a worm. As the group fights guards, Aoba and Mink advance against Toue. Toue’s attempt to use Scrap on Mink fails due to Aoba’s prior influence. Mink sends Aoba back to pursue the real Toue, but Ren bites Aoba, transferring an unknown substance into him.
EP 12Aoba confronts Ren's origins and the worm while defeating Toue and Sei in a Rhyme Battle.
Sep 22, 2014Aoba uses Scrap to communicate with Ren, whose consciousness is deteriorating due to a worm infection. Ren explains he was created as Aoba's restraint to monitor his desire, but transferred into an Allmate dog body after losing internal influence. Past memory tampering by Virus and Trip caused Ren to forget his purpose until the infection occurred. Feeling inferior as an older model, Ren prepares to disappear, but Aoba refuses to let him go. The pair then defeats Toue and his Allmate Usui in a Rhyme Battle. Following Toue's suicide, Aoba accepts his other self as Sei destroys the remaining threat. Mink's Allmate Tori evacuates Aoba from the collapsing Oval Tower. One year later, Aoba receives an anonymous message leading him to a hospital, where he reunites with Ren, who now inhabits Sei's body.
