Ep. 11: Hakuoh and Shobu advance in the Battle Arena Championship Tournament
The Duel Masters Battle Arena Championship Tournament begins with 14 contestants selected, starting with a computer-chosen random pair where the loser is immediately eliminated. Hakuoh faces Makoto Aizen, the former 4th Temple Guardian known as the Dancing Duelist. Makoto has significantly improved, playing as a professional and trading strategic blows with his idol. Although Makoto corners Hakuoh, he lacks a creature to deliver the final blow and accepts defeat, allowing Hakuoh to win. Next, Shobu duels Yurivana Toko, who previously relied on her appearance rather than skill. Shobu shows no mercy and secures a quick victory. After their matches, both Hakuoh and Shobu return to their seats to find Toru Kamiya, who attempts to speak but faints before revealing his message.
