Marcille discovers the dungeon layout is shifting to trap the group. Senshi, feeling guilty about their hunger, volunteers to hunt the next monster. He, Laios, and Chilchuck encounter dryads whose pollen triggers severe allergies. Chilchuck guides Senshi with voice commands to defeat them. Marcille’s staff is broken, preventing her from fighting, though she needs time to regrow it. Senshi prepares soup and sautéed fruits from the dryads. To improve survival odds, Marcille teaches Laios healing magic. Senshi awkwardly gives Chilchuck a talk, unaware he is an adult in Half-foot years. Laios casts his first spell but suffers from mana sickness, forcing the others to let him rest. A cockatrice attacks, and while they kill it, Marcille is bitten and turned to stone in an unstable pose. They cure her using healing magic and herbs over four days, leaving her feeling guilty about the wasted time.
