Ep. 4: Marlya and Free pursue Patricia and Jonathan after they steal a Black Tome page.
After Free defeats Sweetie with Marlya's aid, Marlya recalls Suna's destruction by Ray Dawn's army. She and Veronica once saw fairy primitives unaided. Patricia, a Gui Carlin member and Sweetie's friend, meets with her. Free and Marlya return to Cain and Damien, who evade questions about a Black Tome page and deny knowing Veronica. Marlya distrusts them. Patricia and Jonathan steal the page, prompting Marlya and Free to follow them into an abandoned church passage. They are ambushed in a crypt where Patricia lures Free away, leaving Jonathan to capture Marlya. Jonathan, a skilled knife-wielder, wounds Marlya with a poison blade that blocks her fairy summoning. Just as he captures her, Veronica appears through a window, drawing her knife against Jonathan to protect Marlya.
