Ep. 3: Free and Marlya investigate the Black Fairy Tome while facing mafia rivals and a Fairy Soldier.
Free explains that only 17 Fairy Soldiers survived the Unification War, which also killed Wolfran’s family. He and Marlya are sent by the Ministry of Fairies to Timoon to meet scholar Cain regarding the Black Fairy Tome, a text on Fairy possession. There, they encounter Free’s contact Sweetie from the Gui Carlin mafia. They also meet Cain’s associate Damien, while Free’s contact Axel attempts to steal the Tome for the Arcame mafia. Axel steals a page, triggering a chase between him, Free, and Sweetie. This event is revealed to be a trap by Damien and Veronica using a fake page to identify seekers of the real Tome. Sweetie shoots Axel, but Free battles her to retrieve the item. Sweetie reveals she is a Fairy Soldier. Meanwhile, a dying Axel is approached by an unknown man in an alley.
