Sabotaged Zern I artificial fairies cause friction between the Ministry of Fairies and Ministry of War. Dorothea investigates the defects and Warlock, while Nein faces pressure from Duke Diese to ally with the War Ministry. Free suspects the Arcame family regarding the upcoming three-day war anniversary. Robert links the failures to missing inventor Eddy Lloyd. Sweetie proposes a collaboration to investigate Gui Carlin executive Warlock. She, Marlya, and Klara confront him; he admits to holding the Black Fairy Tome but refuses disclosure. Sweetie reveals Marlya and Klara are Dorothea and offers an exchange to view the tome. The episode concludes with a flashback of young Sweetie visiting the ancient Tupal civilization ruins.
