Jean, Nadia, and King are shot down and crash-land on an unknown island. They rescue a 4-year-old girl named Marie, whose parents were killed by masked soldiers. The group flees from these soldiers and finds refuge in a secluded cave stocked with supplies. Jean and Nadia bury Marie's parents, with Nadia tearfully informing the child of their deaths. Meanwhile, the Grandis gang washes ashore and is captured by the same soldiers. They are taken to a hidden base where the commander interrogates them regarding the Blue Water and Nadia's pendant.
