Yang assumes the rank of Fleet Admiral upon arriving at Heinessen, where he explains his military strategy to the Alliance government. The plan involves attacking the dispersed Imperial fleet to draw out Reinhard, with the goal of eliminating him to cause infighting among his admirals. Julian and Yang meet for dinner to discuss recent events. Meanwhile, Merkatz directs the exiled Imperial fleet to unite with Yang’s forces. Reinhard suffers from the flu and reflects on his past. On February 28, 799 S.C. / 490 I.C., the combined Alliance fleet sets sail from Heinessen to begin the offensive.
