Julian and his companions depart from Phezzan aboard a cargo vessel. Julian deceives the captain of an Imperial destroyer, successfully seizing control of the ship. Meanwhile, Reinhard assembles and instructs his fleet regarding the strategy for the impending invasion. The Imperial forces possess a numerical superiority of three to one compared to the disorganized Alliance fleet. Both fleets are currently days away from engaging in combat within the uninhabited Rantemario star system.
