The 999 suffers a sudden crash landing on Planet Ali Baba, stranding the crew in a desert region notorious for its high concentration of thieves. Tetsuro and Maetel attempt to reach the nearby town, while the Conductor travels to the station to contact the Galaxy Railways Authority. During their journey across the harsh terrain, the pair is ambushed and captured by bandits before arriving at their destination. They are stripped down to their underwear and brought before Ali Baba, the leader of the group, while the Conductor remains conspicuously absent from the scene.
