Tetsuro observes many individuals lingering by the roadside on planet Legend. Maetel explains that these people are cyborgs who have lost their will to live. Meim and Saki awaken Tetsuro in his hotel room. He refuses to fight the cyborg leader, resulting in a death sentence. However, the leader spares Tetsuro's life. It is revealed that the leader aims to transform the planet into a sanctuary exclusively for cyborgs. This narrative focuses on the conflict between Tetsuro's refusal and the cyborgs' desire for a separate existence on their home world.
