Ep. 20: Shinsengumi Encounter Red Kimono Ghost During Summer Night Scary Stories

On a sweltering summer night, the Shinsengumi gather to exchange frightening stories while mosquitoes buzz around them. Inayama recounts a legend about a female spirit wearing a red kimono who haunts a schoolhouse at midnight. Suddenly, this same apparition manifests at the Shinsengumi station, causing more than half of the team members to fall under its influence. Each affected soldier mutters about seeing a woman clad in red. Alarmed by this unseen threat, Kondou decides to hire an exorcist to resolve the haunting. However, the professionals he brings in appear suspicious and untrustworthy, raising concerns about their legitimacy.
