After failing at pachinko, Gintoki and Hasegawa regret their poor financial choices while eating ice candies made from collected change. They overhear rumors of a lucrative opportunity involving a reward for a space creature plaguing the local beach. Seizing the chance, the Odd Jobs team heads to the shore to capture the alien. However, they find only a deserted beach and an old man cooking yakisoba noodles in a beach house. The true nature of the reward remains a surprise as the group investigates the situation further.
