Ep. 16: Hasegawa Reflects on How Life Feels Longer When You Are Old Compared to Being Young

Kagura encounters Hasegawa loitering at a park during the day and inquires about his activities. Following his dismissal from the Immigration Bureau for striking Prince Hata on a whim, Hasegawa has adopted the persona of a DORK, or Dumb Old Retarded Kook. After his superior orders him to commit seppuku, he returns home to pack and flee, only to discover his wife has abandoned him. She cites her inability to tolerate living with a DORKH, or Dumb Old Retarded Kook Husband. Having lost his job and family, Hasegawa now relies solely on Gintoki, a friend he met at a pachinko parlor.
