Meanwhile, Inumaru is bathing and asks Maroko to scrub his back, but his father enters instead. Later, the group eats Nabe while Kinekuni discusses the pros and cons of Maroko joining them, noting Inumaru might be a rival. Bunmei interrupts the meal to announce Maroko's arrest for violating time travel laws by visiting ancestors. Inumaru and Bunmei fight, resulting in Inumaru knocking Bunmei unconscious. The episode concludes with Inumaru and Maroko fleeing together, leaving Kinekuni behind.
