Asako’s health declines rapidly due to past injuries and booster drug usage, leading to her peaceful passing despite Yuuji’s desperate pleas. Grieving, JB recalls their childhood in an orphanage and invites Yuuji to live with her. He later embarks on a soul-searching trip they once planned, eventually returning to enroll in Mihama Academy to live a normal life. While narrating his past, JB’s assistant Chiara Farrell interrupts, prompting Yuuji to leave. He is immediately assigned to assassinate Ethan Glow, who is revealed to be Heath Oslo, the terrorist who raised him after his mother’s death. Overcome with emotion, Yuuji fails the mission and is abducted by an unknown group. Back at school, the girls are shocked to see Yuuji on the news, falsely implicated in Oslo’s terrorist attack.
