Haru, Elie, Musica, Let, Plue, and Griff travel on the Silver Rhythm Gang airship. Let explains that reaching Symphonia requires passing through the Annihilation Storm via the Emperor Gate, which demands a toll. An air casino docks with their vessel, prompting the group to enter in formal wear. They encounter the Big Butt Bandits, who notice a familiar crest. Musica and Griff fail to secure sponsors for the toll. The bandits initially plan to marry three wealthy women for quick riches. However, after the Rear Admiral reunites with Plue, the bandits realize their scheme lacks love. Meanwhile, Ruby, a talking penguin, attempts to capture Plue to use as a deposit for the Doryu Raid Squad.
