Ep. 20: Diary of Remembrance: Mana's Control and the Apocalypse Virus History
Mana nearly takes Inori's body while Gai warns the world that the Leukocyte will destroy Earth on December 25th. The Undertakers and Kuhouin Group escape Japan with Tennouzu students, where Shibungi gives Shu a journal revealing the Apocalypse virus history. In 2013, Shuichiro researched Genomic Resonance and befriended Kurosu. By 2017, Kurosu married Saeko Shijou after she became pregnant with Mana. In 2022, a meteorite brought a virus reacting to Genomic Resonance, attracting Daath in 2023. Yuu urged Kurosu to keep Mana pregnant with Shu to start a new race. Saeko died birthing Shu, causing Kurosu to reject Daath. Jealous, Shuichiro joined them, experimenting on children. In 2028, Kurosu married Haruka and found a cure via Void Genome. Shuichiro killed Kurosu over jealousy. In the present, Haruka explains Mana controls Inori through Shu's extracted voids. Shu prepares for an attack on GHQ Headquarters with allies, refusing to return voids despite their deaths, and forgives Souta.
