Ep. 3: Wendelin’s Misunderstood Friendship and the Duke’s Reward

At Adventurers Academy, Wendelin struggles to connect with peers due to his exceptional magic and poor social skills, causing fear among students. Erwin, Louise, and Iina, who bond over their lower-class backgrounds, attempt to hunt wolves to gain Wendelin’s attention for a party but fail. Wendelin saves them, though they mistakenly believe he views them as burdens. Later, at a party hosted by Duke Bleichroder, Wendelin invites the trio to join him. They meet court wizard Brantack Lyngstad, Alfred’s former teacher, who confirms Alfred taught Wendelin. Realizing their similarities, the three agree to be friends and form a party. Wendelin returns Alfred’s estate and resources to Bleichroder, receiving a thousand gold coins and inheriting the property, surprising everyone.
