Ep. 4: Wendelin attends his brother's wedding in the capital after slaying a bone dragon.

Wendelin and his companions travel to the capital for Erich’s wedding, but their airship is attacked by an undead bone dragon. Brantack directs Wendelin to destroy the creature using holy magic, after which they harvest its valuable bones and crystal heart. Upon arriving in Stuttburg, they are hosted by Aruterio Marchen. Soldiers escort Wendelin to the king, who awards him the Twin Dragon medal and the noble title of Baronet, classifying him as a noble of the robe. This elevation causes Erich concern, as their father is merely a knight, potentially removing Wendelin from the family lineage. Officials debate the payment for the dragon parts, with Cardinal Hohenheim, Lord Marshall Edgar, and Lord Commissioner Ruckner vying for influence. Wendelin ultimately receives 150,000 gold. At the wedding, Wendelin’s impoverished family embarrasses themselves and Duke Bleichroder due to an inadequate gift, prompting Wendelin to purchase presents. Aruterio secures kome-kouji for Wendelin’s miso production, and Cardinal Hohenheim informs his granddaughter Elise that he has selected a husband for her.
