Ep. 12: Edward and Alphonse seek Philosopher's Stone clues from Izumi and Sig

Edward and Alphonse visit Izumi and her husband Sig to find information regarding the Philosopher's Stone. While staying with them, the Elric brothers reminisce about their initial encounter with Izumi during a flood in Resembool and their subsequent acceptance as her disciples after surviving a month stranded on an island. They reflect on understanding the concept that one is all and all is one. Izumi observes their combat movements and deduces that they attempted human transmutation. Acknowledging their shared transgression, she reveals her own attempt to resurrect her child who died during her pregnancy. The group reconciles, bonding over the mutual suffering caused by the consequences of human transmutation.
