Ep. 10: Shinsengumi confronts Itou's plot while Souji faces a Rasetsu transformation offer

The Shinsengumi discovers Itou’s assassination plan against Commander Kondou and moves to his compound despite safety concerns for Heisuke. Following Itou’s death, Saito and Chizuru convince Heisuke to join them against Itou’s forces. Meanwhile, Souji, weakened by tuberculosis, meets Kaoru, who reveals his identity and offers medicine to become a Rasetsu. At the compound, Shinsengumi troops are surrounded by Itou’s men, Shiranui, and Amagiri. Heisuke fights Amagiri and suffers a brutal attack during the confrontation.
