Towa, abandoned in a forest fire as a child, was rescued by Sota and raised in the present. Ten years later, she faces bullies who eventually take her family hostage. Meanwhile, in the past, Hisui, Kohaku, and Setsuna confront Moroha, believing she is a demon. Mistress Three-Eyes intervenes, stealing the Red and Gold Rainbow Pearls from Moroha and Setsuna to empower herself. The bullies attack Towa again, but she defends her home. That night, a portal transports Setsuna, Moroha, and Mistress Three-Eyes to the present. Towa recognizes Setsuna as a demon slayer. Mistress Three-Eyes senses the Silver Rainbow Pearl and shatters Towa’s sword in half during the confrontation.
