Ep. 3: Towa battles Mistress Three-Eyes while Setsuna and Moroha uncover their shared lineage and past.

Towa converts remains into a laser blade to wound Mistress Three-Eyes, allowing Setsuna to finish her. The pair recover pearls, with Moroha keeping the skull. Towa attempts to reconnect with Setsuna, who ignores her. Moroha realizes they are Sesshoumaru's daughters, though they lack memory of their past. Flashbacks reveal Kaede informing Hisui and Kohaku that Setsuna spent ten years alone after separating from Towa. They discover roots near the Sacred Tree of Ages, concluding Setsuna and Moroha were sent to the distant future of Kagome's era. Hitoukon possesses Towa to attack Setsuna, but Setsuna exorcises it after it fails to possess Mei. Towa's family hosts the visitors, and Souta and Kagome's mother identifies Moroha as Kagome's daughter. Moroha deduces Setsuna is cursed by the Dream Butterfly, unable to sleep or dream without her memory, causing Towa guilt over their separation.
