Ep. 18: The Half-Demon Princesses face Meidomaru and learn of the Zanseiken curse before heading to the modern era.

The Half-Demon Princesses visit Sesshōmaru’s mother, who grants them access to the Windmill of Time after they defeat Meidomaru. Near Mount Musubi, Kirinmaru restores Rion’s haku and reveals his plan to destroy the Grim Comet, which Rion rejects due to the resulting Degenerate Age. He provides Towa as a new body for her. During the battle, Moroha uses her enhanced arrow to reveal Meidomaru’s fate threads, allowing Towa to absorb his energy with the Zanseiken while Setsuna severs his connections. Rion accidentally impales Riku while defending Towa from Kirinmaru, who then abducts and drugs her. The princesses learn the Zanseiken curse threatens Towa’s body. Akuru opens a time portal for Towa to return to the modern era, while Kirinmaru summons Osamu Kirin to follow. Rin senses a major event at the Sacred Tree of Ages as Towa vows to keep her promise to Rin.
