Ep. 17: Akuru's Pinwheel

Akuru heals Towa using his pinwheel, prompting the Sacred Tree of Ages to reveal that Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha are chosen to destroy the Grim Comet. Rin urges her twin daughters to fulfill their destiny and return safely for a family hug. The twins depart with Jaken and their dog-demon grandmother via the Windmill of Time. Meanwhile, Moroha reunites with her parents at the Bone-Eater's Well, receiving a longbow crafted from her grandfather's tomb and Inuyasha's hair. Kagome explains the site's significance before Kirinmaru appears, demanding Sesshoumaru's presence. Inuyasha prepares to fight the enemy responsible for their fourteen-year separation, while Moroha vows to stop running from battle.
