Ep. 21: Osamu Kirin's Apparition Conquest

The half-demon princesses seek the Sacred Tree of Ages to open a gateway to the feudal era to aid their fathers. Sōta shares final words with Towa, while Moe and Mei exchange farewells before Akuru opens the portal. In the feudal era, the Grim Comet transforms into the Grim Butterfly, absorbing demons. Osamu senses Riku and approaches Rion, revealing himself as the severed arm of Tōga. He convinces Rion to join him, linking her to the Grim Butterfly for immortality. Riku declines the offer. Kirinmaru awakens to see Rion absorbed and attempts to destroy the butterfly. Kohaku gives Towa a Kikujuumonji. Sesshoumaru exits the Sacred Tree of Ages with Rion and confronts Kirinmaru for their long-awaited duel, while Rin watches.
