Ep. 8: Nanahoshi uses her galaxy to trap Zero while Moroha escapes imprisonment and fights raccoon-dogs.

Disguised as Otsuyu, Zero visits Nanahoshi’s mansion, where she attempts to exploit his lack of sorrow using her Rainbow Pearls to trap the Half-Demon Princesses. Meanwhile, Kohaku and demon-slayers prepare to hunt fire bulls in a village under Mayonaka’s care. Setsuna uses lavender hand cream from Towa and glimpses the demon spirit Akuru, as Towa, Riku, and Rion seek help due to threats against their lives. Moroha, imprisoned by the Raccoon-Dog Tribe, escapes using a Swiss Army knife. While hiding, she learns that Takechiyo’s brother bears a scar from Inuyasha and that a Full Moon Raccoon-Dog was sealed by Kagome Higurashi at nineteen, explaining the tribe’s hatred. Chased by these demons, Moroha’s Crimson Dragon Wave fails. She then uses her grandmother’s rouge to activate a new Beniyasha form to avenge her half-cousin, attacking with an enhanced Crimson Backlash Wave against foes who remain unfazed by her assault.
