Ep. 12: Towa confronts her past as Zero reveals her true motives and absorbs the Rainbow Pearls

Towa relives childhood trauma after being abducted by Zero, whose suffering was transferred to Nanahoshi. Zero exposes her motives while Sesshoumaru visits Kohaku and Setsuna meets a weakened Rin at the Sacred Tree of Ages. Rin explains that cutting fate threads cannot lift the silver-scale curse unless Zero is saved. Riku and Rion witness Towa’s rage, which Zero desires. Zero intends for Towa to kill her, forcing Towa to bear the guilt of killing Rin. Riku attempts to stop Towa but fails due to her strength. Seeking to send Towa to Hell, Zero absorbs all seven Rainbow Pearls into her eyes, gaining enhanced demonic abilities and emitting a rainbow aura.
