Hayate defeats Klaus and Tama by catching a ribbon, creating the illusion that he can win without physical contact. Following several retirements during the tournament, he faces Himuro, who leaves the ring to assist Taiga and postpones their match. Hayate subsequently defeats Hinagiku in the finals and confronts Kirika's butler, Shion Kuresato. By identifying her weak point, Hayace secures victory in the tournament, leaving the student body in awkward silence. Nagi retains the trophy awarded for the Butler Battle Tournament. The Superintendent subsequently vows to capture Hayate by summoning her Dark Butlers League.
