Ep. 26: Hayate Fakes Amnesia After Ayumu Claims Him as Butler During Errand

While running an errand for Nagi, Hayate encounters Ayumu, who is attacking Gilbert. Embarrassed by their previous meeting, Hayate feigns amnesia to escape Ayumu’s claim that he is her butler. Nagi retrieves Hayate and attempts to restore his memory by reenacting past events at her mansion. These efforts include forcing him to wear a cat-girl outfit and fighting Tama. Later, Klaus pushes Hayate from a plane into a lake. Nagi and Ayumu land on an island revealed to be a giant turtle. Hayate defends them, and his recitation of their names convinces the girls he has recovered. Ayumu subsequently realizes the significance of Nagi in Hayate’s life.
