Ep. 24: Hayate deals with a cursed pendant while returning a DVD and resolving a stolen stole incident.
Hayate struggles with a King's Stone pendant given by Nagi's grandfather while returning a rented DVD. Sayuka and Isumi visit Nagi, where Sayuka jokes with Hayate. Isumi realizes her stole is missing, prompting Hayate and Wataru to retrieve it from Tama in a guest room. Wataru feels unable to return the item, so Hayate delivers it. Isumi lifts the pendant's curse as thanks, but Nagi and Wataru misinterpret the embrace as romantic, causing shock and depression. The next morning, Nagi asks who Hayate loves more. He replies that he enjoys playing with Isumi and Sakuya. Nagi loses faith, runs away to Wataru's store, and sells Hayate to Isumi due to further misunderstanding. At the video store, Nagi cries while Saki scolds Wataru for bullying her.
