Mary competes in tennis championships while Lynn attends school. Patricia discovers news regarding George's arrest, and Isabelle learns Lynn knew about her father. Mary finishes second in her match, failing to secure the crest, which leads to Vivian accusing her of sabotaging Lynn. Vivian warns Philip to have Edward monitor Lynn. Sophie visits for her birthday, prompting Isabelle to plan a party and reassure Lynn that her father will provide for them. Mary blames Lynn for her loss and confronts her grandfather, who promises the mansion to Mary's family. Mary later offers Lynn a choice between the mansion and Lady Crest, a conversation Sophie overhears.
