Ep. 10: Hitomi struggles with financial pressure while Anzu attempts to earn allowance through horse racing.

Hitomi’s mother dismisses her honest account of a bartending job. Utako pressures Hitomi to rent an apartment to protect her bar’s revenue, assigning temp jobs to cover costs. Exhaustion causes Hitomi to collapse at her new home. During a housewarming party with Utako and regulars, Hitomi asks her mother to sabotage the arrangement and restore her normal life. Instead, her mother approves of Hitomi’s new connections, leaving Hitomi trapped. Meanwhile, Anzu receives 5,000 Yen from her parents. While shopping with Hitomi, Anzu selects a shoulder massaging device for her parents but lacks funds. Sabu takes her to a local horse racetrack. Anzu wins her first bet but loses subsequent winnings. She returns home and gives her parents a personal shoulder massage instead.
