Rei and Yuda find their lower bodies trapped in mud and swirling water, giving Yuda an advantage due to his upper-body fighting style. Simultaneously, Kenshiro confronts Komak and the men responsible for destroying the dam, successfully halting the water flow. As the water level recedes in the village, Rei utilizes his ultimate technique to overcome Yuda and inflict a mortal wound. Yuda accepts his defeat, acknowledging Rei as a stronger and more beautiful man. Yuda dies in Rei's arms, but Rei himself does not have much time left to live.
