Ep. 10: Shingo withdraws as early tournament matches end in defeat for the team.

Shingo plans to quit the tournament because Tsubasa cannot play, causing distress among the team members. He instructs the Tsukinose-Ishigami pair to focus on scoring while forbidding them from slacking off. During a shopping trip, Maki and Toma encounter Oji, who pressures Maki into cooking noodles. They subsequently meet the Itsuse brothers, the defending national pair champions from last year's tournament, who taunt Oji. Kinuyo informs the club that winning just one match is necessary to save it, a goal that appears difficult given the tournament bracket. On the day of the competition, Rintaro and Itsuki take a 2-0 lead before Rintaro suffers a leg cramp, resulting in their loss. Nao and Taiyo then utilize a strategy involving running across the court to obscure their movements. Although they extend the match to the fifth set, they exhaust their stamina and lose.
