Ep. 6: Phase Two Cooking Test and Spider Eagle Egg Retrieval Challenge

Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua join remaining candidates for a cooking exam led by Menchi and Buhara. After failing to cook carnivorous pigs, Chairman Netero intervenes to correct Menchi’s bias, allowing her to stay if she joins the test. The retest requires boiling spider eagle eggs from Mt. Split-in-Half. Candidates ride Netero’s airship and jump into a dangerous ravine to retrieve them. While some perish or refuse, Gon successfully obtains eggs by observing Menchi. Of the 50 candidates who survived Phase Two, 42 remain after this trial.
