Ep. 16: The Amorous Monk Miroku and His Cursed Wind Tunnel Hand

Miroku, a lecherous monk seeking Shikon Jewel shards, steals Kagome’s fragments and flees. Inuyasha tracks him to an okiya to recover the stolen items. Miroku attempts to use the Wind Tunnel curse in his right hand, but Kagome stops him. He then explains that the youkai Naraku inflicted this curse upon him. Naraku has pursued the Shikon Jewel for fifty years, driving Miroku’s quest for the shards. This encounter reveals the dangerous nature of Miroku’s condition and the long-standing conflict surrounding the jewel fragments.
