Ep. 41: Kagura and Kanna attack a village while Miroku reunites with Koharu
Aired on August 27, 2001

Miroku encounters Koharu, a runaway who fled her village after her master's son made unwanted advances. Simultaneously, Kagura and Kanna, serving as Naraku's incarnated detachments, invade the same village. They steal the souls of the villagers and control their bodies to cause chaos. During the attack, Kanna observes that Kagome's spirit is too powerful to be trapped within her mirror. Consequently, Kanna decides to leave Kagome weakened rather than attempting to contain her. This sequence highlights the dual threats facing the group, combining personal reunions with the ongoing supernatural dangers posed by Naraku's forces.
