Ep. 42: Inuyasha faces Kagura's wind attack and Naraku reveals Kikyo's betrayal.

Inuyasha battles Kagura, who employs her wind abilities to reanimate the souls of deceased villagers. When Inuyasha attempts to counter with the Wind Scar, Kanna intercepts the attack using her mirror. Naraku subsequently appears to inform Inuyasha that Kikyo voluntarily surrendered the Shikon Jewel shards she had previously taken from Kagome. In response, Kagome fires a sacred arrow into Kanna's mirror, successfully releasing all trapped spirits and restoring the souls to their respective bodies.
