Inuyasha and Kagome observe that Sota Higurashi is suffering from lovesickness. He approaches Inuyasha for guidance on how to win over his crush, Hitomi. Sota initially attempts to confess by presenting a bouquet of roses, but this effort fails. Inuyasha steps in to bolster Sota's self-assurance. While the two watch from a distance, Sota successfully asks Hitomi to be his girlfriend. She shyly accepts his proposal, resolving his romantic dilemma with the help of his friends.
