Inuyasha's group observes Miroku causing trouble in various villages, where he has been falsely accused of being a fake and a flirt with local girls. Rumors spread about a mysterious and perverted monk named Miroku wandering the countryside. The group eventually identifies Hachi, Miroku's raccoon dog servant, as the true culprit behind the deception. They confront a weasel demon that has been impersonating Miroku throughout their journey. After defeating the demon, Miroku ensures that Hachi will not repeat his mischievous actions in the future.
