Enju, a freelance potter, and Kawaramaru, a warrior, are resurrected by Urasue, an ogress sorceress. Enju creates clay soldiers while Kawaramaru commands them. Inuyasha and his companions fight through the demonic army. Inuyasha uses Tetsusaiga to defeat Kawaramaru and destroy the clay soldiers. Enju, who initially desired death, chooses to live. This encounter follows their revival by their mother figure, Urasue, and concludes with the defeat of the demonic forces and Enju's decision to embrace life.
