Ep. 10: Hitomi shares her past with Aoi after entering a monochromatic fantasy world

Asagi and Hitomi reconcile over parfaits before Kohaku plans to use magic to transport visitors into the Photography & Art Club's anthologies. Kohaku reveals Hitomi will cast the spell, prompting Hitomi to practice relentlessly with paper aeroplanes and photos of England to create vibrant scenes. After mastering the magic for 3 minutes, the club enters Aoi's drawing of a fantasy world. They encounter a golden fish, leading Hitomi into darkness where she turns to stone. Aoi opens a bamboo door to find young Hitomi drawing a river scene with monochromatic colors. He tries to brighten it with drawings, but she rejects them. Hitomi then explains her history: her mother was the first Tsukishiro unable to use magic, giving birth to a magical daughter. After her mother left, Hitomi believed her happiness was a punishment for failing to notice her mother's sorrow, leading her to hate magic for tearing their relationship apart.
