Kohaku theorizes that Hitomi unconsciously cast magic on herself, causing her monochromatic world. He has Aoi conduct embarrassing experiments with Hitomi to find a way to break the spell, such as calling him by his first name and having them stand close together. These attempts fail completely. Consequently, Kohaku decides to practice time magic to return Hitomi to her original timeline. The club members feel sadness regarding her imminent departure, while Hitomi herself is unwilling to go back.
