Ep. 7: Misaki meets Usagi's estranged father and struggles to express his love
Misaki complains about Usagi’s toys before encountering an elderly man at the station who seems unfamiliar with trains. Misaki accompanies him, exchanging a carved bear for a rubber duck intended for the man’s son. Upon arrival, a corporate car reveals the man is Usagi’s father. Back home, Usagi breaks a mug with boiling coffee and retreats to his workspace. Misaki debates revealing the encounter but instead confronts Usagi about his recent strange behavior. Both remain silent as Misaki reflects on the father’s unspoken affection. Usagi leaves, prompting Misaki to attempt a confession of love, though he breaks down in tears. Usagi, moved by the gesture, carries Misaki to their bedroom, instructs him to lick a scar, and kisses him while repeatedly whispering his love.
