Ep. 9: Usagi struggles with dating norms while Misaki faces family secrets and a confession
Aikawa complains that Usagi cannot finish his manuscript because he lacks understanding of a typical college student date. After dismissing a five-star hotel as inappropriate, she asks Misaki to guide Usagi. Misaki agrees but is forced to admit he recently met Usagi’s father and brother. During their outing at a diner and aquarium, Misaki encounters Usagi’s brother again and advises him to repair his relationship with their father. Usagi later confesses his fear that his family will expose hidden aspects of his life, causing Misaki to hate him. Misaki reassures him of his love, leading to reconciliation and a shared shower. Misaki later feels embarrassed by his confession but accepts it was necessary, only to discover Usagi has used the moment as inspiration for a new BL novel instead of completing his original work.
